Welcome new Head Softball Coach Jeff Serbin.
Coach Serbin hails from Portage, Indiana where he played baseball all four years of high school which landed him at St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana. He was a starter all four years as a middle infielder, pitcher, and catcher for the last three years. He was named Captain his senior year which turned out to be a record year. He led St. Joe to its first ever GLVC conference championship and birth to the NCAA Division II tournament in Mankato Minnesota.
Coach Serbin embarked on middle Tennessee in 1989 to move closer to his family. He became a Lebanon Police Officer until 1998 where he took a teaching/coaching job at Mount Juliet High School. He led the MJHS girls soccer team to their first ever winning season, the boys soccer team to their first ever district tournament win, and a state berth in Volleyball as he and his wife were co-head coaches also helped (they had WNBA player Alysha Clark as an outside hitter).
Coach Serbin then took a position with Hendersonville High School where in 2013 he was named head softball coach after being an assistant since 2005. He led HHS to a 134-86 record and a 9AAA tournament championship, runner up region, sub state berth losing to state champion Dickson County.
Coach Serbin has been married to his wife Ashley (Head Softball Coach at Wilson Central for eight years and Hall of Fame member at Cumberland University) for 19 years they have two boys Carson-13 and Braden-10 both are very active in athletics.
Coach loves to camp with his family, play golf, and attend sporting events with his boys. Go Irish!

Coach Sigmon enters his second year as an assistant softball coach at Centennial High School. Previously, he served as an assistant coach at Freedom Middle School in Franklin, TN and has spent many years coaching in the Franklin Baseball Club and the Girls Softball Association of Franklin. Coach Sigmon has also coached for numerous baseball and softball travel teams.
