Coach Froedden begins his third season as the head coach of the boys basketball team at Centennial High School.
Coach Froedden received his bachelors degree from Lipscomb University, as well as being a 4 year member of the Mens Basketball Team. While playing at Lipscomb, Froedden amassed 1,053 points as a three-year starter and 146 victories playing under legendary coach Don Meyer.
He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Austin Peay State University. Coach Froedden’s first head coaching job came in 1994 at Hillsboro High School. He then went on to become the Athletic Director and Head Coach at Harding Academy in Memphis, turning a 7-15 team into the region runner-up in his first season. Coach Froedden went 114-68 at Harding Academy, winning three district championships and being selected district Coach of the Year two times before returning to his alma mater to coach for five seasons.
