Head Coach
Coach Baughman enters his 15th season as the Head Baseball Coach at Centennial High School. Additionally, he just completed his 16th season coaching football. Coach Baughman has served in many different positions while coaching football, such as, Offensive Coordinator, Running Backs Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, as well as coaching the wide receivers this season. Coach Baughman in a native of Michigan and graduated from Olivet College where he played football for 4 years and Baseball for 1. Coach Baughman started his coaching career at Freedom Middle school coaching football and basketball. Coach Baughman is married to Elisa and they have 3 kids Noah (15), Jack (13), and Allie (10).

Justin Alberson
Infield Coach
Justin Alberson enters his ninth season as the Assistant Baseball Coach at Centennial High School. Justin’s responsibilities with the baseball program include: Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and infield coach. During the nine seasons with the program, Centennial has won 2 District Championships, a Region Title, and a State Tournament appearance. Alberson has helped develop two professional baseball players –Matt Williams (15th round pick by the St. Louis Cardinals) and Tony Kemp (5th round pick by the Houston Astros). Matt is currently in AAA with the Memphis Redbirds and Tony is with the MLB Houston Astros. Along with two professional players, numerous amounts of other Cougars have had the opportunity to play college baseball. Before working at Centennial, Alberson played four years of college baseball. His first two years at Dyersburg State Community College, he was awarded Middle Reliever of the Year. Graduating from Dyersburg State, Alberson transferred to Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. While at Trevecca, he was part of two Transsouth Conference championships, the highest ranking in baseball history, and a berth to the Region XI baseball tournament. Coach Alberson is married to his wife Jessica, and they have two children Garrett and Anna Lynn.
